English to Arabic Legal Translation

English to Arabic Legal Translation

I provide English to Arabic legal translation to businesses in both the public and private sectors. My customers vary from individuals to small companies, government organizations and large, multinational corporations.

I studied European corporate law and worked as a secretary-registrar for the Euro-Arab Arbitration System at the Joint Arab-British Chamber of Commerce in London. I’m well versed with the laws of European and Arab cultures as I have hand-on experience of Arabic legal translation in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

I carefully edit and review all legal documents ensuring that even highly complex legal information is conveyed accurately. I am a sworn English-Arabic-English translator certified by the Dutch Legal Aid Council, a qualified member of the Institute of Translation & Interpreting and a chartered linguist member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, UK.

I translate documents that are used in the legal, administrative or judicial contexts. My English to Arabic legal translation services cover the translation of documents and texts that have legal importance including:

  • International humanitarian law
  • Criminal law
  • Financial law
  • Contracts and agreements
  • Tenders
  • Judicial transcripts
  • Appeals
  • Statements
  • Sales deeds and powers of attorney
  • Certificates
  • Academic transcripts
  • Cookies, privacy policies, trademarks and copyrights

My hybrid specialisation allows me to translate economic reports which delve into the legal reforms that advance men and women’s empowerment.

I’ve been thus busy for a couple of decades carrying out translation and copywriting work pertinent to war crime trials and NGOs humanitarian reports relevant to the MENA region. This includes not only judicial monitoring reports about crimes against humanity but also advocacy of reforms and human rights for post-conflict reconstruction in relation to accountability, governance, women rights, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), gender equality, and women & youth issues that NGOs are dedicated to in order to drive progress towards peacebuilding and change.

With her professional and very personable style, Farah helped Crowdynews integrating support for the Arabic language and gave us insight into the MENA news media market. Our technology operates on natural language processing algorithms and for Arabic we needed not only a native speaker, but somebody with an in-depth understanding of linguistics and with a knowledge of different Arabic dialects. Farah provided high quality, accurate translation with a fast turnaround times and was the perfect match for this role.

Farah was my colleague whilst working for British American Tobacco in Cairo, Egypt. Cairo was the Area Headquarter for North Africa, and Farah’s fluency in Arabic, English and French was recognized as a great asset by both management and colleagues. Due to the nature of the organisation, our corporate translations are often highly specialised in legal, finance, marketing and media, and it is in this kind of translations where Farah has proven the type of professional she is: meticulous, dedicated and with a passion for a job well done.
